THE REGULATIONS OF THE NEW RESOURCES TEAM

(ENRris)

1. The ENRis is a system of promotion, activity and study whose purpose is to find new resources for apostolic and institutional activities. It consists of the general and provincial government of the Little Work of Divine Providence (cfr CG 12, dec. 31). The ENRis is conceived as a network at the service of the entire Congregation and it is endorsed by a central team and by provincial teams.

2. In order to achieve this purpose the ENRis carries out these main activities:

a. keeps in contact with the superiors of the Congregation in order to identify initiatives and plans of solidarity for which the necessary financial resources are sought;

b. to seek financing from various private and public organizations in the service industry;

c. to promote the wider knowledge of the "good name" of Don Orione and of the Congregation and to stimulate charity through active works and coordinated in individual Provinces and Houses, while avoiding disrupting activities that are already being done in the various structures of the Work.

3. The Central ENRis constitutes and depends on the Superior General's office and its scope is the international arena and links all the provincial ENRis.

4. Its chairman is the Bursar General (or his delegate) and comprises a competent group of experts and collaborators (paid or voluntary) able to identify sources of financing available from private or public organizations and to draw up the necessary plans for the obtaining financial help on behalf of the activities of the Congregation. Its main activities are:

a. to keep in touch with Superiors from the Superior General's office in order to decern initiatives and plans of solidarity for which to seek the necessary financial resources;

b. to search for economic, public and private resources, made available for determined areas of participation and support;

c. to elaborate plans that are suitable in substance and in form in order to compete for the acquisition of the resources available;

d. to develop a liaison service of technical aid and information (bank data) between the various Provincial ENRis concerning requests and offers of funds, finally, to optimize the information and the actions needed in order to more easily access the various sources of financing, envisaging communion between needs and offers of resources in the different nations.

5. The Central ENRis , in promoting the actions for acquisition of economic resources, and according to the needs and opportunities, will make use of various legal entities of the Congregation:

a. the Little Work of the Divine Providence (Superior General);

b. Individual Religious Provinces (Provincial Superiors);

c. other organizations recognized by the Congregation (ex. Foundation Don Orione, SEV Orione ‘84, etc.) can be involved as holders or partners, as qualified persons required for the presentation of plans.

6. The Central ENRis is the responsibility of the Bursar General and it must conform to the administrative and economic procedures of approval established by the Constitutions and Norms of the Congregation. It operates with rightful autonomy to make contacts with various levels of authority, to study and to promote initiatives but before assuming a definitive commitment must have all the necessary authorizations from the competent local Superiors, Provincial Superiors and the Superior General.

7. The Central ENRis usually meets quarterly and whenever else the Bursar General thinks it is necessary. An exact report of every meeting must be written up.

8. It is up to the Superior General, following the report of the Bursar General (or Delegate):

a. to determine the choice of programmes and the general operating lines in order to realize established objectives;

b. to approve the annual financial report;

c. to evaluate and to authorize the various initiatives of the ENRis;

d. to deliberate on any other extraordinary matter introduced by the persons in charge of the ENRis.

The Provincial ENRis

9. The Provincial ENRis depends on the provincial headquarters and has, as its sphere of operation, the geographical area of the religious Province to which it belongs and its link with the central ENRis.

10, It is presided over by the Provincial Bursar (or the Delegate) and comprises a competent group of experts and collaborators (paid or voluntary) able to identify sources of financing availible from private or public organizations and to draw up the necessary plans for obtaining financial help on behalf of the activities of the Congregation.

11. Its main activities are:

a. to keep in touch with the superiors of the Superior General's office in order to decern initiatives and plans of solidarity for which to seek the necessary financial resources;

12. The Provincial ENRis, in promoting the actions for acquisition of economic resources, and according to needs and opportunities, will make use of various legal entities of the religious Province and its other authorities.

13. The Provincial ENRis is the responsibility of the Provincial Bursar and it must conform to the administrative and economic procedures of approval established by the Constitutions and Norms of the Congregation. The Work,has rightful autonomy to make contacts with various levels of authority, to study and to promote initiatives, but before assuming a definitive commitment must have all the necessary authorizations from the competent local superiors, provincial superiors and the Superior General.
